I'm glad the Packers kept him. I'm not a fan (diehard Vikings fan) but if they'd let him finish his career somewhere else it may have really ruined it for the Packers fans.

I'm also happy that this is over, it was an ugly situation all-around.

Hubby told me that Farve did hint that the Packers kinda urged him to retire even though he didn't want to. I think it's a sticky sitch because if they let him play somewhere else and he rocks this year, Pack/Favre fans are going to be more pissed than they are. On the other hand, if they keep him on because he's Brett Favre and he's not as good, then it will still suck because they could have gone in a new direction with Rogers.

I personally think if they are going with Rogers, they need to let Favre play somewhere else.

LOL, glam. I know TONS of Bears fans who don't want Favre anywhere near our team. I don't mind so much. I know the rivalry but I also know that the Bears need all the help they can get.

Yeah, the Bears have a little quarterback problem, running back too right? I don't remember if they drafted any top back or not.

I'm just hoping Tarvaris has improved drastically over the off-season. I love how our defense has shaped up and adding Berrian should really help.

I hope it'll be awesome, I thought they were good last year without Jared Allen. He was really tough when we played KC last season so I'm hoping for big things.

Benson was supposed to be so good and now he's really thrown his career away. Sad. I've been known to keep my team's players on the FF roster too long myself.

Eh, I don't see CP with the Bears but maybe. The chatter seems to be saying that if they do, he won't be up for the starting position. He's getting up there and he's always hurt. Why bother, really. Well, then again the Bears did go through all 3 QB's last year so maybe he'd be a good 3rd option.
